Routing Setup
Typicallystaticroutingdoesnotneedtobesetupbecausetherouterhasadequateroutinginformationafterithasbeencongured
forInternetaccess.Staticroutingisonlynecessaryiftherouterisconnectedtonetworkunderadifferentsubnets.
ToviewtheRoutingsettings,clickAdvanced then select Routing.
Note: Toenableastaticrouting,NATmustbedisabled.
Iftherouterisconnectedwithanetworkunderthedifferent
subnet,theroutingsetupallowsthenetworkconnectionwithin
twodifferentsubnets.
Enable Static Routing
ClickEnableStaticRoutingtoactivatethefeature.
Destination LAN IP
EntertheLANIPaddressofthedestinationdevice.
Subnet Mask
EntertheSubnetMaskofthedestinationdevice.
Default Gateway
EnterthedefaultgatewayIPaddressforthedestinationdevice.
Hops
Enterthemaximumnumberofhopswithinthestaticrouting
thatapacketisallowedtotravel.
Interface
SelectLANorWANastheinterface.
ClickAddtosavethesettingsandlistthecongurationinthe
CurrentStaticRoutingtableorReset the discard changes.
View and select devices in the Current Static Routing Table.
ClickDelete Selected or Delete All to remove devices
fromthetable.ClickReset to stop.
ClickApply to save the settings or Cancel to discard changes.
